Our Annual Friends of Honolulu Botanical Gardens Plant Sale took place on a beautiful Saturday on April 20, 2024. ASLA President, Nancy Cassandro, ASLA Trustee, Dana Anne Yee, FASLA, and Jason Umemoto, ASLA volunteered at that ASLA Hawai`i Chapter information table to share and promote our field of Landscape Architecture to the public. Nancy was one of the class presenters and she shared an informative slide show about Planting Design with Native Plants. Although the plant sale was smaller, the event and classes were a welcomed manageable, sweet, and happy event. Thank you to the Friends of Honolulu Botanical Gardens for putting on the event and the City and County of Honolulu Botanical Gardens for their fine support and for a fun and educational community event.
