A Schematic Landscape Master Plan was requested by the City and County of Honolulu for an overall plan and environmental assessment plan for the Community.

This park is highly used within the Community and is in need of a plan that will provide designated use areas for the Communities needs.  Included in this Master Plan are soccer and football practice fields, camping, handicap accessible picnic benches, play equipment, and beach volleyball areas.  A landscape tree disposition plan will indicate the existing plant material to remain and removal of dead and declining plant materials.  Specimen canopy shade trees will be included in the Master Plan to enhance the beauty of the park and provide much needed shade for park users.  A meandering path is planned to provide recreational facilities for walking, jogging, biking and rollerblading as well as to help provide access to a variety of picnic areas.
